Juicing

Table of Contents

I believe that you should not juice in this day and age.

Reason:  The pulp that you are removing, while juicing, is the part of the fruit or vegetable that pulls out toxins from your body.

Juicing can be beneficial.  Just find fruits and vegetables that are not grown with or sprayed with harmful chemicals.  Unless you know the person(s) that grew the fruit and/or vegetables did not use harmful chemicals while producing the product(s).

Read and follow the Gerson method of juicing.

Instead of Juicing?

Come up with a few good green smoothie recipes that will help detox and nourish your body.

Still want to juice, then get the right juicer.

There are so many juicers on the market.  I just did a search and I can not believe how many are now on the market.

What you want in a juicer, key words to look for:

  • Slow
  • Masticating

You do not want a centrifugal juicer.

A centrifugal juicer will shred the product and push it through small holes at a fast rate.  This heats your product up beyond the 117-degree Fahrenheit, oxidizes, and homogenizes your result. A centrifugal juicer will reduce the nutrient content and make most of your content impossible to be absorbed correctly.

Note: You should not drink cow milk, and you should not drink anything that is pasteurized or homogenized.

The Best Juicer on the market:

Hands down the Norwalk juicer is the way to go if you can afford it.
The Hurom would be a second choice and only choice if I could not afford the Norwalk.

Only issue I have with the Hurom is that it is slow at juicing and does get plugged up (Depending what you are attempting to squeeze the juice out of.) sometimes. Once you get used to the Hurom you will know how fast you can push your produce through so it does not get plugged.
