Ingredients
- 2 lemons
- 1 orange
- 2 raw honey
- 2 quarts filtered water
Instructions
- use the Norpro Stainless-Steel Citrus Juice Press or other method to squeeze the juice out of the lemons and orange(s). Strain to remove pulp if you choose.
- place about a 1/4 cup of warm water in a cup and add the raw honey, stir until honey is dissolved into the water.
- Place the lemon/orange juice into a quart jar.
- Place the raw honey water into a quart jar.
- Fill quart jar up with filtered water and stir.
- Pour content of quart jar into a glass pitcher (container).
- Fill your quart jar again with water and dump into the pitcher.
- You now have a pitcher with 2 quarts of liquid, stir and enjoy.
Notes
- It has been stated that the lemon may deteriorate the enamel on your teeth.
- To prevent this, drink your lemonade, and then drink some filtered water.
- Ginger root.
- Press about a thumb size of ginger root to extract juice for a single serving.
- You can filter to remove the pulp if you desire.
- Use more if you are not using for a single serving.
- Example if you are extracting for a quart of lemonade I would recommend extracting about four thumb size of ginger root.
