Ingredients

  • 2 lemons
  • 1 orange
  • 2 raw honey
  • 2 quarts filtered water

Instructions

  • use the Norpro Stainless-Steel Citrus Juice Press or other method to squeeze the juice out of the lemons and orange(s). Strain to remove pulp if you choose.
  • place about a 1/4 cup of warm water in a cup and add the raw honey, stir until honey is dissolved into the water.
  • Place the lemon/orange juice into a quart jar.
  • Place the raw honey water into a quart jar.
  • Fill quart jar up with filtered water and stir.
  • Pour content of quart jar into a glass pitcher (container).
  • Fill your quart jar again with water and dump into the pitcher.
  • You now have a pitcher with 2 quarts of liquid, stir and enjoy.

Notes

  • It has been stated that the lemon may deteriorate the enamel on your teeth.
  • To prevent this, drink your lemonade, and then drink some filtered water.
Other ingredients to add if you want to:
  • Ginger root.
  • Press about a thumb size of ginger root to extract juice for a single serving.
  • You can filter to remove the pulp if you desire.
  • Use more if you are not using for a single serving.
  • Example if you are extracting for a quart of lemonade I would recommend extracting about four thumb size of ginger root.
